Thanks for visiting!
We're Einstein's Daughters, an all-girls robotics team from San Diego, California! We compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge and our team is made up of six 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. We love competing with our robot and telling the community about robotics!
What Have Einstein's Daughters Been Up To?
The
2010 FTC season is in full swing; our team participated in the Los
Angeles regional in December, and the San Diego regional in January. We
competed in the quarter-finals at both competitions, and were awarded
Inspire in San Diego! Right now, we're preparing to compete in Atlanta
in April. Congratulations to the other qualifying teams, we'll see you
there!

We've also been working with our not-for-profit, RISE,
to help communities around the world. At the San Diego regional we ran
a fundrasier called "Hot Shots for Haiti" that raised over $1400
dollars for Haitian disaster victims. We will be fundraising for
another cause at the Championships, and hope to have even greater
success!
We founded RISE (Robotics
Inspiring Science and Engineering) last year, and we have high hopes
for it. The main mission of the organization is to increase the number
of people participating in FIRST and other science and engineering
activities, specifically in the younger age-groups. We qualified for
tax exempt, 501(c)(3) status in February '09 with the help of local pro
bono law firm Luce Forward. Check out our RISE website, www.riserobotics.org!
